Captain Sam Whitmire- Orlando Bass Charters
United States Coast Guard licensed Captain Sam is a Florida native, former professional bass fisherman with nearly 20 years of tournament level experience on the water. Sam approaches the water intuitively, reading the current conditions of each day and reacting accordingly to make sure his clients have the best day on the water possible.
Capt. Sam takes clients to lakes in the Central Florida region, including Lake Kissimmee, Lake Toho, Lake Cypress, Lake Hatchineha, the Winter Haven Chain of Lakes and various smaller lakes that are full of trophy sized largemouth. Offering live bait trips using wild shiners, which requires no prior fishing experience yet can produce some of the best days on the water with numbers and size. He also offers artificial lure trips where he will show his clients how to utilize different techniques as well as teach them how to use the most up to date electronics in the fishing industry such as forward facing sonar.
The Boat

Capt. Sam runs a Falcon F205 bass boat with a Mercury 250hp outboard. Falcon boasts a best in class deck space which is ideal for multiple clients to have plenty of room to fish comfortably. The boat is equipped with dual 10ft Power poles, a Bobs Machine Shop hydraulic jack plate, all of the finest Lowrance electronics and Amped Outdoors Lithium batteries for plenty of power all day on the water.
No Need for Gear!
Capt. Sam supplies all of the equipment needed for a day on the water including 13 Fishing rods and reels, spooled with Pline and Hayabusa hooks. You will have complete confidence to land your trophy catch.
Your Trip is supplied with ice, water, and small snacks such as granola bars. Please pack a bag if there are certain things you would like to eat or drink throughout your guide.
